Cherokee Wind was formed by Carl Towns in 1998 after Carl returned from a tour overseas as a country artist. He came back to the states with his first love on his mind, Bluegrass! So he began Cherokee Wind not only as a return to roots but to his heritage. The band included: Joe Towns - Banjo, Polly Towns - Rhythm Guitar & Vocals, Chester Prince - Mandolin, & vocals and Charles Mann - Bass & Vocals. Carl played lead guitar and sang lead vocals.
This CD includes the radio hit: Cherokee Wind as well as Enchanted, both penned by Carl Towns. It also includes some great standard Bluegrass as well.
